Helping young minds thrive through thoughtful psychological care.

The Well Psychology Clinic was created to support children and families navigate their feelings, behaviours and thoughts with evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique needs.

We understand that these experiences can feel overwhelming. Our aim is to reduce that overwhelm, build meaningful understanding, and support families to move forward with confidence.

Our Name: The Well

The name ‘The Well’ draws inspiration from the historic well—a place where communities once gathered to draw water and access the resources needed for the journey ahead. It was a place of rest, connection, and renewal.

In the same way, The Well Psychology Clinic is intended to be a space where children and families can pause, feel supported, and receive the care, knowledge, and guidance they need.

Our hope is that families leave feeling resourced—psychologically strengthened and better prepared for the path ahead. A place to come, to draw what is needed, and ultimately, to be well.

What We Do

At The Well Psychology Clinic, we provide evidence-based psychological services to children, adolescents, and families navigating mental health and neurodevelopmental support needs.

We work with children, adolescents, and families across a range of needs through:

  • Psychological assessments (cognitive, adaptive, ADHD, emotional, and behavioural)

  • Individual therapy for children and adolescents

  • Parent and family-based interventions

  • Group programs for children

  • Psychoeducation and workshops for parents, schools, and community groups

  • Guidance and support navigating systems, including schools and the NDIS

Our Approach

We believe understanding comes before intervention.

Our work is grounded in evidence-based best practice and shaped by deep experience across education, health, research, and family systems.

  • Assessments are not stand-alone reports. They directly inform therapy, school support, and practical next steps.

  • We consider the whole child—their relationships, environment, and unique strengths. Family members are supported as active partners in care.

  • Experience across early intervention, preschool, mainstream schools, autism and intellectual disability support classes, behavioural support classrooms, and Schools for Specific Purposes (SSPs).

  • As an Asian Australian-led practice, we offer care that respects migration histories, intergenerational dynamics, and culturally shaped parenting expectations.

Practice Lead & Child Psychologist

The practice is led by a registered psychologist with experience spanning education, research, private practice, health, and corporate settings.

This breadth enables a nuanced understanding of child development, school systems, family stress, and the realities parents face when advocating for their child.
